Who we are
This website and The Baseline Court are run by Baseline Interactive, the developer of Baseline Basketball Manager 27. Baseline Interactive is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect and why
You can browse the website without an account. Apart from basic usage statistics, we only collect personal data when you use one of the features below.
Your account
- What
- Email address and password when you sign up with email, or your name, email and profile picture from Google or Facebook if you sign in with them. We never see your Google or Facebook password.
- Why
- To create and run your account and let you sign in.
- Legal basis
- Contract — providing the account you asked for.
Steam sign-in and linking
- What
- Your SteamID, Steam display name, avatar, profile URL and country as shown on your public Steam profile. If you link Steam while signed in, we store which account it belongs to.
- Why
- To create your Baseline Court membership, show your Steam profile and verify eligibility for member rewards.
- Legal basis
- Contract — providing the membership you asked for.
Profile and preferences
- What
- Name and country you add in My Profile, and the choices you make in My Preferences (email updates, advertising and partner consent, game versions).
- Why
- To keep your profile up to date and respect your marketing choices.
- Legal basis
- Contract for profile details; consent for marketing choices.
Newsletter
- What
- Your email address and whether you've opted in to dev diaries and launch news.
- Why
- To send you updates about BBM27 — only if you opted in.
- Legal basis
- Consent — you can withdraw it at any time.
Giveaways
- What
- Your name, email address and which account or Steam membership entered, plus whether you won.
- Why
- To run the giveaway, make sure everyone enters only once and contact the winners.
- Legal basis
- Contract — the giveaway terms you enter under.
Emails you send us
- What
- Whatever you include when you contact us by email.
- Why
- To answer you.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest in responding to your message.
Usage statistics
- What
- Basic information about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited, collected by our hosting provider.
- Why
- To understand what's working on the site and improve it.
- Legal basis
- Legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
How long we keep it
- Account, Steam membership and preferences — until you ask us to delete your account.
- Newsletter — until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Giveaway entries — until the giveaway is finished and prizes are delivered, and no longer than 12 months after it ends.
- Emails to us — as long as needed to handle your request.
- Signed-in sessions — Baseline Court sessions expire after 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected. Most of it you can edit yourself in My Profile and My Preferences.
- Erasure — have your account and data deleted.
- Restriction and objection — limit or object to how we use your data, including for marketing.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for anything based on consent, such as the newsletter.
To use any of these rights, email info@baselinebasketballmanager.com. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se) or your local data protection authority.
Children
The Baseline Court isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes we'll let members know by email or on the site.
